The Fannin County Sports Hall of Fame includes athletes, coaches, teams and contributors who have played significant roles in the athletic landscape of the county. Ronnie Reid was elected as a member of the 2024 induction class for his contributions to Fannin County athletics for more than 50 years. Ronnie was the football and basketball manager at West Fannin High School from 1961-1965 and served as the Fannin County High School clock operator for over 40 years. In 1993 Ronnie was honored by the Northwest Georgia Tip-Off Club for his contributions. He is widely recognized in Fannin County for his loyalty and efficiency in the performance and commitment to service in athletics.
Ronnie died in 2021. He was inducted on June 8, 2024, and his plaque was presented to his cousin Larry Sparks.
